Inauguration Day 2009‏ by Aron Brackeen

November 15, 2008

Here is what one of the orginal Democrats said:

'Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone.
The people themselves are its only safe depositories.
'
- Thomas Jefferson

Now to the modern Dems.

The inordinate and idolatrous love affair among a majority of Americans over Obama (I'd say the samething about McCain), I wanted them to know about some things he and his buddies have recently siad.  These statments and sentiments may have been missed while the applause jingled inside those who don't have ears to hear.

Barack Obama said this during a speech in Colorado Springs:
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

Obama's buddy, Rahm Emanuel, wrote the following in a 2006 book, The Plan (pages 61-62):
"It’s time for a real Patriot Act that brings out the patriot in all of us. We propose universal civilian service for every young American. Under this plan, All Americans between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five will be asked to serve their country by going through three months of basic training, civil defense preparation and community service. …
Here’s how it would work. Young people will know that between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, the nation will enlist them for three months of civilian service. They’ll be asked to report for three months of basic civil defense training in their state or community, where they will learn what to do in the event of biochemical, nuclear or conventional attack; how to assist others in an evacuation; how to respond when a levee breaks or we’re hit by a natural disaster. These young people will be available to address their communities’ most pressing needs."

How about the words of one Joseph Biden ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihc_5okrABc ):
"It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking… Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy...I promise you it will occur."

Surley Former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell should get your attention from 10/19/2008:

"The problems are always going to be there and there's going to be a crisis come along on the 21st or the 22nd of January which we don't even know about right now."

Go to the 2mins: 35-55 secs timeframe to find the fortelling quote:

"People might not get all they work for in this world, but they must certainly work for all they get."  "America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds herself to be false to the future."
-Frederick Douglas

“Accepting the principle behind both the income and the estate tax concedes the statist notion that the government owns the fruits of our labor, as well as our savings, and we are permitted by the politicians’ “generosity” to keep a certain percentage.”

- Ron Paul, A Republic If You Can Keep It

“A free society rejects all notions of involuntary servitude whether by draft or the confiscation of the fruits of our labor through the personal income tax.”
- Ron Paul, In the Name of Patriotism

"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible.'
- George Washington

'Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone.
The people themselves are its only safe depositories.
'
- Thomas Jefferson

'Let us never forget that the cultivation of the earth is the most important labor of man.  When tillage begins, other arts follow.  The farmers, therefore, are the founders of civilization.'
- Daniel Webster
